Our client is a premier supplier of express delivery services. They are looking to recruit a Regional Security Manager to join the team to support regional, depot and functional management in the delivery of a secure network and business for employees, customers and stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and recommending operational improvements and delivering a loss prevention/reduction service. You will lead investigations to collect evidence to support employee misconduct or criminal activities. The role will involve working closely with internal and external parties, visiting depots to carry out surveys on building/work procedures in order to advise on improvement of security measures, to identify any weaknesses in the security systems and to recommend depot and regional management on preventative measures. You will support and guide business unit management in achieving compliance with operational and security specific standard operating procedures. The role requires a consultative approach with customers to achieve the best results. Candidates should be fully aware of relevant employment law and be conversant with investigative methods and evidence gathering procedures. Ideally you will have operated within a multi-site, security management/loss prevention/investigative role. Experience within parcel/courier/delivery/distribution services would be an advantage.
