We are seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant/CDM Co-ordinator for our client based in Manchester. They are one of the country's leading multi-disciplinary consultancies to the built, natural and social environment, employing in excess of 3,000 people within a diverse geographical spread throughout the UK and Europe. You will be working within an existing team but with the ability to act on your own initiative. You will be involved in all aspects of Health and Safety, including site inspections and preparing policies and procedures and should be able to conduct Health and Safety / hazard workshops within a professional design group. The role is based in their Manchester office. You will need to posses a NEBOSH General Certificate / NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similarly approved qualification and be able to demonstrate work experience within the construction industry. This nationally renowned company seeks to recruit for a new role of Deputy Safety & Security Manager for their Minehead complex. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be a role model and develop within the team. You will be accountable for the operational control of the safety and security of guests, staff and property. You will maintain exceptional communication with other department managers, compile a variety of reports and take a hands-on approach when required. The ideal candidate will be safety and security focused and possess a good working knowledge of site health and safety and security procedures. You will need at least two years' experience in a supervisory/management position within a security or similar environment. S.I.A training and knowledge of licencing laws would be desirable.
