An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious sporting, hotel and spa complex. As deputy manager, you will be responsible for the fire safety, planned maintenance and security of the site. You will be responsible for all internal systems within the complex, paying particular attention to Health & Safety for both in-house personnel and all visitors. You will need to demonstrate previous management experience within a facilities/maintenance, safety and security role together with previous management and operation of communication systems, fire alarm and surveillance systems within a complex multi-site environment. Knowledge of room access systems and qualifications in First Aid and Fire Fighting would be an advantage. AM/1009-4 Apply
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY ASSISTANT – Lancaster – Up to £25k
Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced fire protection equipment. Their products range from the latest fire detection and alarm technology, through engineered fire suppression systems, to hand-held fire fighting equipment. The role is responsible for assisting the EHS Manager to develop and implement the Environmental Health & Safety Strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, supporting and providing guidance to line managers in the operation of effective health, safety and environmental practices and procedures, as well as monitoring the day to day operation of the site to identify health and safety hazards, assessing risks and implementing risk control measures.
