INVESTIGATIONS MANAGER - Central London - £35-45k + £4k car allowance + benefits

Our client is a luxury brand international retailer whose business plan expansion dictates that they recruit an investigations manager to complement their existing corporate supply chain team. The role has responsibility for planning and leading cradle-to-grave investigations within the corporate supply chain/manufacturing areas of their business.  Managing a team of two investigators remotely, plus 3rd party supplier relationships, the emphasis and demands of the role will require excellent investigation techniques plus the ability and flexibility to liaise at senior management level. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a global brand, international restaurant chain, looking to recruit a candidate to be part of the team ensuring the delivery of the security function.  The key responsibilities of the role include providing cost effective, specialist security support to operational clients, including store visits, training and presentations; managing all approved security suppliers; providing assistance to operational clients in identifying causes of loss and ways to protect their profit, including advice on physical store security; providing accurate, relevant and timely security data; providing assistance to operational clients in the development of business projects to establish requirements for security input; building relationships with external crime reduction bodies. SENIOR SITE MANAGER – West London - £ Excellent salary + benefits package
Our client, one of the premier manned guarding providers, wishes to recruit a security manger to be responsible for the strategy, direction and day to day management of the security team at a prestigious, new shopping and leisure centre in West London. Reporting directly to the account director/senior security manager and responsible for a team of 120+, you will develop and maintain the operation of the security team, deploying and managing available resources to ensure a safe and secure environment is achieved.  You will be responsible for developing the management information systems to enable you to strategically manage, audit and review resource allocation and planning as well as reviewing operational procedures for adherence to best practice and statutory requirements. You will also be responsible for recruiting, managing and developing all team members, including directing the training and briefing of new team members, and ensuring that staff disciplinary, grievance and performance appraisals are conducted appropriately. You should be fully conversant with the methods of working of all security equipment and keep abreast of the latest available technology to make recommendations on the introduction of any suitable equipment. In addition, you will initiate and manage regular reviews of the assessments of risk under the Health and Safety at Work Act, and where necessary COSHH, liaising with the Health and Safety Manager. The successful candidate will have first class experience managing a security team at a shopping centre site, ideally with some facilities experience. As a member of the senior management team, you should be customer-focussed and with the ability to attend and make presentations at meetings to develop links with tenants. The nature of the business will require a high degree of flexibility on the part of the successful candidate, and it will be important to have an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other managers in order to make essential decisions. COMPANY SECURITY MANAGER (Warehousing) – South Yorkshire - £41-46k + car + bonus + benefits

Our client is a respected national high street retailer. This senior role is to advise on the strategy for the security department going forward.  The role is supported by regional security managers who manage the day to day operation of the warehousing and distribution, call centre and head office functions. The primary responsibility will be to maximise company profits through the protection of assets, staff and stock by providing advice and support, reviewing procedures and implementing a new strategy for the department and ensuring its effectiveness, as well as guiding and managing a team of regional security managers and supervisors in achieving departmental objectives. The primary objective will be to ensure that security equipment and personnel are used cost effectively to prevent crime, minimize losses and protect personnel. The jobholder must possess comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience of investigation techniques, security equipment and services and have the capability to plan and control a substantial security budget to achieve cost effective solutions. You must have proven management skills to ensure that all security personnel are motivated and trained to provide a high quality, effective round-the-clock security service. With highly developed interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation is essential. Ideally, you should have acquired experience of warehouse/ distribution security management at a senior level from a previous career in policing, the armed services or senior security management, preferably within a large retail organisation.
