Our client, a complete security solutions provider offering design, installation and support, seeks to recruit an experienced sales professional to join their UK team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing sales strategies in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to ensure sales, profit and margin targets are achieved in line with business objectives. You will identify and develop new business opportunities within the London region as well as developing existing clients. You will also develop commercial agreements and manage annual contract negotiations, liaise with clients to identify future needs and current market trends whilst consistently achieving budgeted sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and specification of both door entry and access control equipment to a variety of clients from electrical contractors to architects. You will be responsible for developing your region via cold calling, reacting to sales leads from an external marketing resource and leads generated from exhibitions and trade shows. The role will incorporate 75% generation of new business and 25% account management and will require presentations to all levels of clients, client visits and demonstrations. The successful candidate will have experience in field sales of selling door entry/access control products/services and have a proven track record of success in both sales generation and account management.
