IN-HOUSE UNIFORMED SECURITY OFFICER - London SW1 – 40 hours p.w. days and nights - £19k+ p.a. + excellent benefits
Our client seeks to recruit an experienced Security Officer to work at their prestigious London premises working within a team operating a 24 hour security service. Duties will include ensuring the property is effectively patrolled to prevent loss of, or damage to, the premises, answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries, access control, ID checking, dealing with deliveries and car park responsibilities, monitoring CCTV, operating fire fighting and fire prevention equipment in a safe manner, liaising with emergency services, keeping and maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation. Suitable candidates will have a security background, be well presented and have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to prioritise where necessary.  You will have a 10 year/back to school checkable work history. TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT SECURITY OFFICER (In-house) – Hertfordshire – c.£22k + overtime + final salary pension + 27 days holiday + benefits

Our corporate client is looking to recruit an additional member for their team of security officers, to work a rotating, 4 on/4 off shift pattern of days and nights.  Responsibilities include controlling site access and egress, dealing with deliveries, undertaking routine site patrols, monitoring CCTV and equipment alarms, issuing and controlling keys, responding to emergency situations, dealing with security-managed equipment problems, arranging for repairs, dealing with out-of-hours issues, maintaining the daily security log, providing emergency first-aid cover and providing out-of-hours switchboard cover.  You should have corporate security officer experience or similar, ideally be SIA licenced and a trained first-aider, and you will need your own transport and to live locally. This role is based in a lively and prestigious head office facility in Leicestershire, where you will play a key role in the protection of the company’s people and products. You will work as part of a team on a variety of different duties including patrols, CCTV, fire and access control systems and booking in staff and visitors. You will need previous security experience and strong customer service and communication skills plus the ability to work as part of a team.
