You will be tasked with delivering training sessions to the company’s portfolio of installation clients at their premises within the specified region. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing training literature and ensuring all equipment required is available and in good working order. You will build relationships with the company’s clients to ensure they receive the support required to enable them to promote and install company products. In addition, you will provide support and training to field sales engineers and distributors across the region as well as attend regular seminars hosted by the company to provide support to sales personnel. Our client seeks to recruit an experience technical support engineer to work throughout the South of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical and product related matters, including field sales support for all internal and external detectors within the company range of equipment. In addition, you will be tasked with the development and implementation of structured training programmes and product demonstrations for company staff, customers, installers, strategic partners and third parties. You will provide technical support to customers either remotely or by attending sites, provide feedback to HQ relating to product problems, customer issues and marketing information and assist in the evaluation and introduction of new products. INSTALLATION/SERVICE ENGINEER – North West – Up to £23k + Call Out + Overtime + Company Car
Our client, an independent security services provider, seeks to recruit an experienced security engineer to join their established but expanding team within the UK. The successful candidate will be multi-disciplined and responsible for the installation and service of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems on behalf of the company’s clients. You will be responsible for a geographical area spanning the North of England including Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire and candidates should therefore be willing to travel. In addition, for larger projects overnight stays and working away will be a requirement of the role. The company currently operate a call out rota at weekends however, the majority of these calls can be dealt with remotely. The role will operate within the company design team working alongside the sales department. The principal responsibility of the role is to ensure the quality of technical and commercial input during the bidding of a sales opportunity and the smooth transition from sales into projects for engineering and implementation. You will liaise with consultants and suppliers to obtain the best price and identify the best solution to ensure a competitive quotation is prepared to be included within the design proposal. They are currently expanding their service department with an additional Field Service Engineer.
