TECHNICAL MANAGER – Hertfordshire – Up to £40k Dependent upon Experience + Company Car + Benefits
Our client, a designer and manufacturer of Door Entry systems, seeks to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for the day to day management of the technical department based from head office. You will provide technical advice and support to the team as well as to the company’s portfolio of clients who include a range of installation and distribution companies throughout the UK and overseas. This support will include on-site product training, product advice and recommendations and providing assistance and guidance during their sales and tender processes as required. In addition, you will liaise with overseas counterparts to resolve technical issues. The successful candidate will play an active part assisting both the sales and product development teams as required. FIELD TRAINING SPECIALIST – North - £27-30k + Company Car + Benefits
Our client, an established manufacturer within the access control arena, seeks to recruit a Field Training Specialist to operate within the Northern region covering an area from Birmingham to Scotland. You will be tasked with delivering training sessions to the company’s portfolio of installation clients at their premises within the specified region. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing training literature and ensuring all equipment required is available and in good working order. You will build relationships with the company’s clients to ensure they receive the support required to enable them to promote and install company products. In addition, you will provide support and training to field sales engineers and distributors across the region as well as attend regular seminars hosted by the company to provide support to sales personnel. Our client, an independently owned business, seeks to recruit an experienced Operations Director to lead and grow their engineering team. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing the day-to-day operations of an electronic security company with full P&L responsibility for both the installation and service departments. You will be responsible for ensuring quality and performance across the business, working closely with the Managing Director to improve services and secure new contracts. The role will be responsible for analysing performance and identifying areas requiring improvement and implementing new polices and procedures accordingly. The candidate will possess a strong character and be commercially astute to command respect and deliver strategic improvements. The role requires a deep understanding of the service ethos and the ability to improve and deliver an outstanding service to customers while ensuring margin objectives are achieved at all times.
