Our client, one of the UK's leading providers of vocational courses (NVQs) for the workplace, seeks to recruit an experienced Training and Assessment Advisor to join their team and assist with the company's expansion. The key objective of the role is to individually manage, develop and assist learners in the successful completion of high quality NVQs and apprenticeships incorporating key skills and technical certificates. You will be responsible for induction briefings / interviews with learners, discussing and agreeing action plans, assessing learner evidence against national performance criteria, providing timely positive feedback to learners and reviewing learner performance against agreed action plans. You will also assist in the mapping and referencing of existing and new NVQs, key skills and technical certificates. HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER - South West - Up to £21k
Our client, a London-based company offering manned guarding services throughout the southern half of the UK, serviced via a network of regional and branch offices, seeks to recruit a Human Resources Officer to cover the South west. The successful candidate will provide HR support, including handling recruitment, conducting interviews, developing links with job centres and other government agencies, conducting grievance, disciplinary and welfare interviews, conducting new starter training, issuing contracts and dealing with local SIA queries.  The role may require some travel. You will be responsible for the delivery and/or design of courses to ensure the work force is appropriately trained to the high standards the company and its clients expect. You will liaise with management to ensure that company standards are met and maintained. You will also be part of designing the company's ongoing training strategy for the future. You should have experience of delivering BJT training and have a working knowledge of the SIA regulations.
