Overview	Our client, the operator of one of the UK’s busiest airports, wishes to appoint a security technology manager to be responsible for the management of all security related technology and systems, providing support to the operational security team as well as providing technology expertise for new projects.
Responsibilities	Key responsibilities will include; monitoring the effectiveness of current security processes and identifying problems capable of resolution through deployment of new technology; monitoring the research, development and deployment of new security technology at airports around the world in order to keep the business at the forefront of innovation in the security field; building and maintaining relationships within industry and Government to influence new security developments; managing security trials, working in partnership with external bodies such as Government and their agencies.
Qualifications & Experience	You should have an excellent understanding of the security function from strategic and operational dimensions, with a sound grasp of the leading available technologies and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant security role. You will need first class operational security experience (Level 3 Security trained) including designing, developing and implementing process changes as well as an understanding of NASP/SDAM/HSM/ EU 2320 and EU 820, plus DfT processes / policy. Security Clearance (CTC) is required as a minimum.
